Ron White will kick off the 2015 Moontower Comedy and Oddity Festival in Austin.

Time flies when you’re having fun. And, apparently, when you’re waiting to have fun again, as well.

The Paramount Theatre announced today that it’s releasing discounted early bird badges for the fourth annual Moontower Comedy and Oddity Festival April 22-25 in Austin. A limited number of Moontower FAN, ACE, and VIP badges will go on sale Thursday, December 11 at 10:00 a.m. CST, according to the Paramount’s press release. All badge holders are guaranteed entry to a special kick-off event on Wednesday, April 22 starring Ron White. Admission to this show is available to badge holders only.

Badge prices and details are available in the Paramount’s press release, below:

The 2015 Moontower Comedy Festival will feature around 100 comics—including well-known headliners and hilarious up-and-comers—performing in numerous group and individual shows at multiple venues around downtown Austin. The best stand-up, sketch, and improv comics from around the country, Texas, and locally will light up the city with laughter.

In celebration of the Paramount Theatre (producers of the Moontower Comedy Festival) turning 100 years old in 2015, all those who purchase a FAN, ACE, or VIP badge are invited to experience Ron White’s Texas Toasted show with no additional ticket needed. For anyone wanting more of a VIP show experience, there are two special packages available for purchase in addition to the Festival badges. The “100 Proof” and “Number Juan” packages include perks like priority seating, autographed DVDs, a photo and Q&A session with Ron White, and more.

Years before he became a household name as the cigar-chomping, Scotch-swilling charter member of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, Texas native Ron White cut his teeth at every comedy club in Austin. Now he is a bonafide superstar, topping the New York Times bestseller charts, garnering three Grammy nominations, and selling a staggering ten million CDs and DVDs (including the 2012 hit A Little Unprofessional, which was filmed live at the Paramount Theatre).

Texas Toasted celebrates Austin’s place in the comedy world, featuring guest spots from many of Ron’s friends, writers, and old cronies. The evening will be closed out by a headlining set from Ron (featuring his signature irreverent style and the best comic timing in the business) and a musical performance from Billboard-topping Margo Rey.

Stay tuned for the next installment of Festival lineup announcements, which will include additional headliners and comics from all over the country and a solid base of Texas talent. Previous years have included performances from Bill Hader, Aziz Ansari, Seth Meyers, Fred Armisen, Hannibal Buress, Mike Birbiglia, Kids in the Hall, Demetri Martin, Dennis Miller, Nick Offerman, Wanda Sykes, Jim Gaffigan, Dana Carvey, Chelsea Peretti, Maria Bamford, JB Smoove, Reggie Watts, and more.

A limited number of Moontower badges are available now at a special early bird rate: FAN badge, $99; ACE badge, $249; VIP badge, $499. Once these sell out, badges will go on sale at the regular prices (FAN for $129, ACE for $319, and VIP for $599). Single tickets to Moontower shows at the Paramount Theatre and Cap City Comedy Club will go on sale at a later date. The FAN badge is your general four-day pass to the Festival, but does not guarantee entry to headliner shows at the Paramount (with the exception of Ron White) and Cap City. The ACE badge—your prime middle-of-the-road credential—gives you access to all non-single-ticketed shows and comes with guaranteed entry and prime seating at four headliner shows of your choice at the Paramount. And the VIP badge gets you priority access to all Festival performances with plenty of additional perks. For a complete rundown of each badge level and to purchase them as well as the special add-on packages for Ron White’s Texas Toasted, visit the official Festival site at moontowercomedyfestival.com.
